The Cape has a long history of wine-growing and there are some of the best wine-farms just outside Cape Town in the Cape Winelands. The largest route will be in the Cape Winelands and includes a number of cities outside of Cape Town such as Paarl and Stellenbosch. If you want to take a shorter route, there is the Constantia Wine Route which takes you through the southern suburbs of Cape Town.
